Full Job Description Job Summary:
This position will be responsible for operating the Dye Sublimation printer and transfer unit, and any other labor / production duties required for the completion of the sublimation processEssential Functions:
- Prepare and load roll goods or cut pieces onto the calendar press for sublimation printing
- Unload printed pieces from the calendar press, stack and bundle cut pieces by size and type
- Compare color reference swatch to active production units to verify proper color match
- Maintain, load, and operate Monti Antonio heat press.
- Prepare certain orders for the calendar press by cleaning with a lint roller and taping to a template
- Refilling printer ink cartridges and replacing transfer paper rolls on printer during production
- Assist with setting up and breaking down the calendar press, and performing maintenance
- Record work performed in production log
- Any other duties as assigned by management
Knowledge, Skills, and Experience:
Minimum Experience required:- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Minimum Experience required:
- One-year experience in a similar position.
- Experience with dye sublimation heat presses, preferred.
- Experience with wide format digital printers, preferred.
Skills Required:
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Problem solver and critical thinking skills
- Works well in a team setting
- Comfortable with changing tasks at a moment's notice
- Strong multi-tasking skills, capable of handling tight deadlines
