Job Description
Full-Time | Monday-Friday, 9:30 AM-4:30 PM We are a busy portrait studio serving high school seniors, families, and schools throughout Kern County. We're looking for a detail-oriented team member with a strong eye for photography to join our production department. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working behind the scenes and understands what makes a great image. While much of our editing is outsourced, this role plays a critical part in preparing galleries and ensuring every client receives beautiful, consistent photographs. Responsibilities Import and organize image files. Review sessions and select the strongest images for each gallery. Prepare Lightroom catalogs for outsourced editing. Perform basic Lightroom edits and color corrections for smaller jobs when needed. Export and organize finished galleries. Maintain accurate file structure and image backups. Work closely with the studio team to ensure deadlines are met during our busy season. Help maintain consistency in image quality and style. Qualifications Experience with Adobe Lightroom is required. Photography experience or education preferred. Strong understanding of composition, expressions, and image quality. Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to work efficiently and manage multiple projects. Comfortable working independently and meeting deadlines. Positive attitude and willingness to learn. Bonus Qualifications Experience with portrait or senior photography. Familiarity with Photoshop. Experience working in a photography studio environment.
