Job Description

Job Summary:
The Specialist II, Regulatory Affairs and Compliance Engineering serves as the division's internal technical expert for compliance for Nordson's Electronic Solutions business. The Regulatory Affairs and Compliance Engineering Specialist is responsible for supporting regulatory compliance and product conformity throughout the product lifecycle. This role partners closely with engineering, quality, operations, and regulatory teams to ensure products, processes, and documentation meet applicable regulatory, statutory, and customer requirements. The position plays a key role in interpreting regulations, supporting submissions and audits, and embedding compliance into engineering design and change activities. Ensure compliance with applicable domestic and international regulatory agencies and compliance regulations including PFAS, REACH, RoHS, CE, SEMI, Global Trade Compliance and other applicable global compliance initiatives. Monitor regulatory changes and assess potential impact to existing products, processes, and engineering practices. Communicate changes to relevant stakeholders. Develop consistent strategies between businesses and plans for achieving and maintaining compliance. Provide regulatory and compliance guidance to cross-functional teams, including engineering, operations, supply chain, and quality. Prepare, review, and maintain regulatory and compliance documentation, including technical files, declarations, certifications, and project records. Serve as liaison between the Electronics Solutions division and Nordson Corporate for regulatory matters. Support regulatory submissions, registrations, and renewals, including coordination with internal teams and regulatory agencies as needed. Review product documentation, labeling, technical specifications, and change requests to confirm regulatory and compliance alignment. Manage projects and activities related to compliance. Exercise judgment within generally defined practices and policies in selecting methods, techniques, and evaluation criterion for obtaining results. Other duties may be assigned as required Must Haves Requires BS degree (regulatory affairs, compliance, or engineering focus preferred) and 4 - 7 years of experience or equivalent relative experience Must be familiar with compliance standards such as
CE, SEMI, PFAS, REACH, RoHS, ECCN's and Tariff Codes Pay:
$35.00 - $45.00 per hour
