Shift Pay:

$33.00 per hour

Schedule:

1st Shift | 4:00 AM - 2:30 PM Seeking an experienced Operations Conversion / Bags Lead Support professional to join our production team. This is a hands-on leadership role requiring strong machine operation expertise, troubleshooting skills, and a commitment to safety, quality, and production efficiency. Key Responsibilities Operate and support conversion machinery while ensuring optimal performance and production output. Assist the Operations Manager with production scheduling, delivery timelines, and job completion tracking. Ensure all finished orders are properly packed, labeled, and prepared for shipment. Monitor material usage and ensure rolls are spliced correctly during production runs. Troubleshoot equipment issues and perform minor repairs and preventative maintenance. Complete quality control and production documentation accurately. Conduct material inspections in accordance with SQF requirements. Maintain compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and SQF standards. Verify adequate inventory and materials are available before production starts. Report equipment malfunctions promptly and help coordinate timely repairs. Demonstrate reliable attendance and punctuality. Support special projects and additional duties as assigned. Qualifications Minimum 5 years of experience operating conversion machinery in a manufacturing environment. Advanced knowledge of conversion equipment and machine adjustments. Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting abilities. Experience performing basic maintenance and minor equipment repairs. Understanding of quality control processes and production documentation. Knowledge of GMP, SQF, and workplace safety standards preferred. Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.
