Job Description

SkillSetGroup is seeking entry-level Production Workers to work in the City of Industry, CA area. This position will be working in a fast-paced metals manufacturing environment. This position will be trained in all aspects of production the selected candidate must have the ability to follow detailed processes such as assembly, sorting, visual inspection, machine operation & packaging. The selected candidates will have a positive attitude, desire to learn a trade & work in an industrial environment is a must.
What You'll Be Doing:
You'll learn a variety of hands-on tasks, including: Inspecting and sorting aerospace parts for accuracy Assembling components using hand tools Checking for quality and defects Smoothing and cleaning parts using small tools Packing and labeling finished products Using basic machines and equipment safely Maintaining a clean and organized work area Following safety guidelines and company procedures Working closely with your team to meet production goals
What We're Looking For:
Years' Experience:
6 months - 1 year of stable work history Skilled at routine mechanical and/or electromechanical assembly operations Able to operate a variety of hand tools and machinery Ability to read and interpret company documents, such as safety rules, operating/manufacturing instructions, policies and procedures Good manual dexterity required to work with small parts Reliable, motivated workers with a strong work ethic People who enjoy hands-on or mechanical tasks (car repair, building, etc.) No experience required — we provide full training A steady work history is a plus, but not required A positive attitude and willingness to learn are most important Why This Role Stands Out Entry-level with full training Hands-on work (not stuck at a desk) Clear path to long-term career growth Opportunity to move into skilled trades or leadership Work with a team that values effort and reliability
Pay:
$19.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
