The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical knowledge, and experience with hand and power tools. This role involves working in a small machine shop and assembly area to fabricate and assemble products while ensuring quality standards are met. Responsibilities Operate various hand tools and power tools to assemble components according to specifications. Fabricate parts as needed, adhering to safety protocols and quality standards. Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency. Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines. Conduct routine inspections of machinery and equipment, reporting any issues promptly. Assist in training new employees on proper manufacturing processes and safety procedures. Requirements Previous experience in a manufacturing or factory environment is preferred. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot basic equipment issues. Proficient in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively. Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 pounds) and stand for extended periods. Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work. Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team environment.
