Production/Warehouse Manufacturing Associate El Segundo, CA 90245 $20
  • $23 an hour

  • Contract As a Warehouse/Manufacturing Operator, you will handle and monitor product and equipment, ensure that everything is running smoothly, and be a safe, productive, and valued team member within the warehouse. This role is onsite in El Segundo 5 days. Payrate is $20
  • 23/hr
RESPONSIBILITIES
Perform daily production activities and operate equipment while maintaining a safe, high-quality, high-volume manufacturing environment Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area, including sweeping, gathering trash, and other janitorial duties as assigned Prepare machinery and tools for sanitation, and/or assist with breakdown and cleaning of machinery Operate trucks and other industrial vehicles to transfer product from warehouse to onsite facility Ensure equipment is maintained in clean, good, and safe working condition and recommend improvements to ensure safety, quality, and production capacity Assist in assembling and verifying all machinery is set up and ready for production daily and set to spec for operations Prepare workstations, gather required tools, and retrieve daily batch sheets from Lead/Supervisors Follow all Food Safety policies in ensuring safety and quality of product Recommend and support development and process improvements to enhance operational safety and efficiency Identify and report unsafe operations to Supervisor or leader immediately Follow all company policies and procedures, safety procedures, food safety guidelines, and Good Manufacturing Practices beyond regulatory needs Performs other duties, as assigned, and follows through on requests in a timely manner
QUALIFICATIONS
High school diploma or GED Manufacturing experience and warehouse experience is preferred Problem solving skills and attention to detail Strong verbal and written communication skills Ability to comprehend and follow instructions Ability to understand and follow safety rules and Good Manufacturing Practices Teamwork and a positive attitude are essential to maintain a culture of cooperation and respect Must be able to work individually in a team environment Must be punctual and dependable Flexibility to work any/all shifts to support a high growth work environment Lori Sklarski Senior Technical Recruiter, PRI Technology Lori.sklarski@pritechnology.com
