Manufacturing Associate

Our client, a heavy equipment manufacturing company, is looking for a Powder Coat/Wet Paint Operator to join their team in Escalon, CA . In this role, you will support production operations by performing powder coating and wet paint processes at a foundational level while maintaining strict compliance with quality, environmental, and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Hang and remove parts from the powder coat line using a crane Apply dry powder to parts prior to curing in the oven Blow off steel grit from parts coming out of the blaster Mask and tape parts in preparation for coating and painting Apply wet paint to equipment accessories in accordance with required MIL specifications Troubleshoot painting equipment issues and make appropriate adjustments as needed Assemble paint kits for equipment Maintain accurate recordkeeping of VOC usage Utilize hand tools proficiently throughout the production process Operate respirator equipment in compliance with safety requirements Adhere to all company quality, environmental, and occupational health and safety policies

Requirements:

Prior experience in powder coating, wet paint, or a related manufacturing environment preferred Familiarity with hand tools and basic painting equipment troubleshooting Respirator trained or willing to be trained Ability to frequently lift and/or move up to 50 lbs Ability to stand and walk for the majority of the shift; occasional stooping, kneeling, crouching, and climbing required Strong color vision, depth perception, and attention to detail Reliable and able to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment without direct customer or employee communication responsibilities
