2pm-10pm M-F; Mandatory Overtime; Must be able to work weekends Job Summary We are seeking Production Operators (Rippers/Folders) to support the manufacturing of shingle products. This position involves manually folding roof ridges using gloved hands and performing production, safety, housekeeping, cleanup, startup, shutdown, and basic maintenance-related tasks. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Manually fold roof ridges using gloved hands (no tools or machinery required for this task) Meet production expectations, including a target of 12 boxes per hour Follow established safety procedures, work instructions, and training guidelines Support manufacturing operations and product quality standards Maintain a clean and organized work area Assist with startup, shutdown, cleanup, and other production-related activities as assigned Follow all company safety policies and avoid unsafe work practices Requirements Ability to perform repetitive manual tasks in a production environment Ability to follow safety procedures and standard operating instructions Must provide and wear personal safety shoes that meet workplace requirements Must wear a long-sleeve shirt containing at least a 35% cotton blend Ability to use required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) All other required PPE will be provided by the company. Physical Requirements Frequent use of hands and arms for repetitive folding tasks Ability to stand for extended periods Ability to work in a manufacturing environment Ability to perform assigned duties safely with required PPE Equal Opportunity Statement We are an Equal Opportunity Employer.
