Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Production Control Planner to join our aerospace and defense manufacturing team. In this vital role, you will oversee production scheduling, material planning, and supply chain coordination to ensure seamless manufacturing operations. Your expertise will drive efficiency, optimize resource utilization, and support continuous improvement initiatives across our production facilities. As a key contributor, you will collaborate closely with manufacturing teams, supply chain partners, and quality assurance to meet demanding project timelines and uphold the highest standards of quality and safety. Responsibilities Develop and maintain detailed production schedules aligned with customer demands, capacity constraints, and inventory levels using ERP systems such as SAP. Manage material requirements planning (MRP) to ensure timely procurement of components and raw materials, minimizing delays and excess inventory. Coordinate with manufacturing teams to prioritize work orders, monitor progress, and adjust plans proactively to address production bottlenecks. Analyze supply chain data and leverage supply chain management tools to identify opportunities for process improvements and cost savings. Implement lean manufacturing principles to streamline workflows, reduce waste, and enhance overall operational efficiency. Collaborate with quality control teams to ensure products meet strict aerospace standards through process improvement initiatives. Support plant management by providing accurate production reports, forecasts, and analytics to inform decision-making and drive continuous improvement efforts. Experience Proven experience in production management within aerospace or defense manufacturing environments. Strong familiarity with ERP systems, particularly SAP or similar platforms, along with MRP functionality. Demonstrated ability in manufacturing planning, operations management, and supply chain analytics. Knowledge of lean manufacturing methodologies and process improvement techniques such as Six Sigma or Kaizen. Mechanical knowledge related to assembly processes, plant operations, and quality control standards is highly desirable. Excellent communication skills with the ability to coordinate across multiple departments effectively. Prior experience in implementing supply chain management strategies that enhance productivity and reduce costs is a plus. Join us in shaping the future of aerospace innovation! Pay:
