POSITION DESCRIPTION
: We are seeking a hard-working and motivated Production Worker to join our growing and dynamic team at a thriving cosmetic company in Los Angeles, California. This role requires versatility and adaptability to handle a variety of tasks and responsibilities within a manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic, detail-oriented, and eager to learn and grow with the company.
Key Responsibilities:
Execute established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) effectively. Perform manufacturing duties to fulfill orders and samples while maintaining accurate batch records. Track, weigh, label, and organize inventory. Lift and move materials weighing up to 95 lbs. during manufacturing and packing processes, and operate a pallet jack as needed Clean and maintain work areas to ensure a neat and orderly environment, including maintaining cleaning records. Clean and maintain machinery such as incubators, laminar flow hoods, drums, mixers, and pumps. Complete additional manufacturing tasks, including conducting regular inventory counts, ensuring accurate documentation of stock levels and discrepancies, data entry, labels printing, and other assignments as directed by management. Handle shipping and receiving tasks, including palletizing and preparation for shipping.
Required Skills and Experience:
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.). Basic mathematical skills with the ability to perform accurate calculations. Detail-oriented, organized, able to prioritize tasks effectively, and capable of meeting deadlines with precision. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Self-motivated, enthusiastic, and willing to learn and grow. Capable of working independently or as part of a team. Reliable and able to follow verbal and written instructions. Flexible and open-minded to handle diverse tasks. Preferred Qualifications (Not Required): Familiarity with current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP). 1-2 years of prior commercial manufacturing experience.
Educational Requirements:
• A High school diploma or some college education is required.
Pay:
$20.00 - $25.00 per hour
