Job Description

Job Purpose:
The Production Planning Assistant at
MONTAGUE CO CORP
is responsible for creating scheduling and production efficiency reports to track and improve production processes. This role involves coordinating with procurement teams to ensure that necessary materials are available for production and managing production schedules and workflows to optimize efficiency and productivity.
Key Responsibilities:
Address and resolve any issues that arise during the production process. Collaborate with sales, customer service, and production teams to ensure timelines and expectations are met. Identify areas for improvement within the production process. Create and maintain detailed scheduling and production efficiency reports. Coordinate with procurement teams to ensure the timely availability of necessary materials. Manage and optimize production schedules and workflows for maximum efficiency. Support the implementation of process improvements to enhance productivity. Communicate effectively with all relevant departments to ensure smooth production operations.
Required Education:
High School Diploma or equivalent
Preferred Education:
Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management or equivalent work experience
Required Experience:
Strong analytical skills Attention to detail Excellent communication abilities Proficiency in relevant software tools
Preferred Experience:
Experience with ERP systems, specifically Microsoft Business Central, F&O, and Dynamics 365 Familiarity with lean manufacturing and processes
Required Skills and Abilities:
Expert in Excel and Power BI reporting
