We are seeking a highly motivated individual to join our Production team. The production worker will perform a wide range of tasks to build a variety of electromechanical devices.

Job Responsibilities:

Performs a variety of production operations Operates machinery and equipment Maintains quality control Sets up and organizes work area and obtains material, supplies and equipment Maintains premises in a clean and orderly fashion and makes minor repairs Completes required paperwork Requirements Ability to read and understand manufacturing instructions Perform different job functions on a rotating basis Surface Mount Soldering skills, preferred High School Diploma or GED, preferred Minimum 2 years of previous work experience in a warehouse, Electronic/Manufacturing environment preferred Ability to lift, bend, twist, walk, and reach frequently Ability to perform repetitious duties while standing or sitting for long periods of time. Must have the ability to lift and/or move up to 20 lbs. regularly

This is an on-site opportunity that must be done from our location in Hayward, CA Must be eligible to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship, now or in the future, for employment-based work authorization. F-1 visa holders with Optional Practical Training (OPT) who will require H-1B status, TNs, or current H-1B visa holders will not be considered. H1-B and green card sponsorship is not available for this position. This position is part of the Teamsters Local 853 union and requires membership. Starting pay is $22.73 (After 90-day probation, pay increases to $23.48)

Shift:

4 10-hour days (Mon-Thursday 7:00 a.m. - 5:30 p.m.) Must become a member of the Teamsters Local 853 union Medical, Dental, Vision, 401k benefits offered after 3 calendar months Must pass background and drug screening AEM is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
