PRODUCTION ASSOCIATE

Encadria Staffing Solutions is looking to place motivated Production Associates to join our team at Georgia Pacific in La Mirada, CA! Shift Requirements Only candidates who are flexible and available to work 2nd or 3rd shift will be considered. This will include overtime, holidays, and weekends as needed. Shift Hours (Monday

• Friday) 2nd shift
• 2:00pm
• 10:00pm 3rd shift
• 10:00 pm
• 6:00 am Overtime, holidays, and weekends as needed.

Payrate:

$22/hour What You Will Do In Your Role Assist in the setup of equipment to defined standards and product specification targets Monitor and/or enter data into computer control systems Assist with troubleshooting equipment to optimize production Read tape measure in increments of 1/16" Perform basic quality checks, multitask, pay special attention to detail, and communicate effectively with peers and management Perform basic asset care duties to include routine preventative maintenance and maintain a clean, organized work environment Work as a team to help meet or exceed production, waste, quality, and safety goals Operate and/or work around mobile equipment Maintain strict adherence to safety rules and regulations, to include wearing safety equipment Perform tasks such as lifting, walking, climbing, stooping, standing, pushing and/or pulling for up to twelve (12) hours a day or as needed during the shift, in a loud/noisy, and industrial, high-volume environment Work in a fast-paced environment Basic Qualifications Experience working in a fast-paced environment in a manufacturing, agricultural, warehouse OR military environment OR completion of post high school education in manufacturing/industrial What Will Put You Ahead Experience using a computer, tablet, or smart device One (1) year or more experience working in a manufacturing and/or industrial environment Experience working in the corrugated packaging industry Equal Opportunity Employer, including disability and protected veteran status.
