In this role, you will
ASSEMBLE
our manufactured parts. Role includes operate, monitor, and maintain production process to ensure efficient, high-quality manufacturing of our products. Key Responsibilities Production & Assembly Follow work instructions, blueprints, and SOPs to assemble, build, or process components accurately and efficiently Operate production equipment and hand/power tools safely and correctly in accordance with training and SOPs Read and interpret basic drawings, work orders, and assembly instructions to complete tasks correctly Meet daily production targets while maintaining required quality standards Set up workstations and equipment at the start of each shift; perform basic changeovers between jobs as needed Package, label, and stage finished components or assemblies per work order specifications Quality & Inspection Perform in-process quality checks using basic measurement tools (calipers, gauges, templates) at designated checkpoints Identify and immediately flag any parts, materials, or assemblies that do not meet quality standards Segregate non-conforming parts and notify your supervisor or QA per established procedures — never pass on a part you're unsure about Accurately complete production logs, quality checklists, and traveler/route sheets for every job Participate in root cause discussions when quality issues arise on your line or station Equipment & Workplace Safety Perform basic equipment checks and report malfunctions, unusual noises, or safety hazards to your supervisor immediately Follow all safety protocols, including proper use of PPE (personal protective equipment) at all times Keep your workstation, tools, and surrounding area clean and organized in accordance with 5S standards Participate in safety briefings, toolbox talks, and required safety training Report near-misses, injuries, or unsafe conditions promptly per company policy Teamwork & Communication Communicate clearly with teammates, leads, and supervisors regarding production status, issues, or delays Support teammates during high-volume periods or when covering other stations as needed Participate in daily shift huddles and provide input on process improvements or recurring issues Follow direction from production leads and supervisors and ask questions when instructions are unclear Maintain a positive, team-oriented attitude and a strong sense of personal accountability for your output Qualifications Required High school diploma or equivalent (GED) Previous experience in a manufacturing, production, assembly, or warehouse environment preferred but not required for the right candidate Ability to read and follow written work instructions, SOPs, and basic technical drawings Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, fractions, measurements) for production and quality tasks Comfortable using basic measurement tools (calipers, tape measure, gauges) or willing to learn Mechanically inclined with good hand-eye coordination and attention to detail Ability to stand, bend, lift (up to 35-50 lbs as applicable), and perform repetitive tasks for the duration of a shift Reliable attendance and punctuality — production schedules depend on a consistent, dependable team Willingness to work assigned shift, including overtime as needed to meet production demands Preferred 1+ years of experience in a manufacturing or assembly production environment Experience operating CNC machines, presses, injection molders, or other production equipment relevant to your facility Forklift certification or willingness to obtain certification Basic understanding of lean manufacturing principles (5S, visual management) Experience with ERP or production tracking systems for logging output and quality data Prior exposure to ISO 9001 or similar quality system environments
