Full Job Description Pay:

$17.87/hour

Shift:

Mon-Friday; 7:30am-3:30pm; Sat/Sun 7am-3pm (up to 29 hours/week)

Location:

Van Nuys, CA Role Overview We are looking for a focused and reliable Assembly Machine Operator to join our production team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating automated assembly stations that fill, label, and cap vials. You'll be the "eyes and ears" of our automated line, ensuring the equipment stays loaded, the flow remains steady, and the final product meets our quality standards. This is a hands-on role perfect for someone who is mechanically inclined and enjoys working with modern, high-speed equipment.

Key Responsibilities Machine Operation:

Set up and run automated assembly machines, including pneumatic and electric filling and labeling equipment.

Material Loading:

Consistently supply the machines with vials, stickers, and toppers to prevent production pauses.

Quality Monitoring:

Visually inspect products to ensure stickers are straight, vials are filled correctly, and toppers are securely fitted.

Basic Troubleshooting:

Clear minor jams (such as a stuck label or a misfed vial) and reset the machine to keep the line moving.

Area Maintenance:

Keep the machinery and surrounding workspace clean and free of debris to ensure optimal sensor performance.

Requirements Technical Aptitude:

Comfort working around moving parts and using digital control panels/buttons.

Hand-Eye Coordination:

Ability to handle small components quickly and accurately.

Consistency:

A track record of reliability and the ability to maintain focus during repetitive assembly cycles.

Communication:

Ability to quickly alert the floor lead or maintenance if a machine requires technical repair.
