Job Description:
In search of a Production Assistant to support the planning and production of all apparel products that we manufacture. We take pride in the quality of our clothing and want to find an individual who will ensure that we meet the high standards we set for ourselves. This is a full-time 40 hour a week position based in downtown Los Angeles, CA.The ideal candidate for this job is engaging, self motivated, focused on finding solutions, and a great problem-solver.
Job Responsibilities Include:
Track proto and pre-production samples and maintain development chart. Review and edit customer tech packs Assist with coordinating with trim and fabric suppliers for proto development. Create and adjust CADS as necessary Help maintain and update fabric library and inventory. Coordinate with Production team on approved styles moving through development pipeline. Measure and inspect garments for quality; cross-reference with standards. Assist with vendors and follow-up as needed for information on production & fit samples. Send-outs include, but not limited to elastic shirring, eyelets, tie dye, garment dye & wash, welt pockets. Adhere to development calendar and assist department in achieving all deadline goals. Comfortable and efficient with email and phone communication with our customers at times.
Candidate Requirements:
Strong time-management from organization, multi-tasking, and prioritization skills. Proficient in Excel, Word, email. Knowledge in POM, measuring garments, tech packs. Knowledge in CADs and garment construction. Ability to complete document filing and other clerical duties. Excellent organizational & communication skills.
