Specific Responsibilities Would Include The Production Assistant supports delivery tracking, production data management, purchase order operations, and the execution and follow-up of manufacturing orders to help drive the on-time delivery of quality, profitable goods.
ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES
Production & Operations Support Support delivery tracking and reporting processes, including monitoring production milestones and shipment status. Assist in maintaining accurate production, shipment, and delivery data to support real-time visibility from factory ex‑factory (XFTY) through in‑distribution center (InDC). Assist with purchase order (PO) execution, including tracking production timelines and follow-ups with vendors. Support on-time delivery to warehouse InDC aligned with customer start ship targets. Support master data management in PLM system. Coordinate and distribute sample submissions. Logistics & Shipment Coordination Partner with vendors, logistics, and operations teams to support vessel bookings, container utilization, and shipment documentation. Assist in ensuring shipment data is accurate and updated in systems such as InforNexus and Damco. Support work-in-progress (WIP) tracking activities, including booking T&As and pack quantity creation. Assist in tracking port of entry (POE) shipments and ensuring container loading plans are shared with cross-functional partners. Support factory invoice consolidation and assist with tracking non-compliance issues or chargebacks. Maintain and update SAP purchase order data. Assist with container volume tracking and basic utilization analysis to help avoid light loads. Cross-Functional Communication & Reporting Partner with cross-functional teams including Operations, Production, Logistics, and Sales to support the timely flow of goods. Assist with maintaining accuracy of customer start ship dates in collaboration with Operations. Communicate potential delivery risks to the Operations team related to production, transit delays, or warehouse variances. Support weekly and monthly delivery tracking reports for Operations and Sales. Perform special projects and ad hoc tasks as assigned. $55,000 - $60,000 At Centric Brands, we believe our people are our greatest asset, and we seek to structure competitive compensation offers to ensure that we are able to attract and retain the best talent. Our job postings include an annual base salary range at the time of employment. The stated base salary range represents our good faith estimate as to what candidates are likely to expect, and we tailor our offers within the range based on several factors, including the selected candidate's educational and professional experience, industry knowledge, location, technical and communication skills, and other factors that may prove relevant during the selection process. Base salary is a part of a total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, annual bonus and other Centric Brands sponsored benefit programs.
