Summary:
The Stacker is responsible for efficiently stacking packed boxes onto pallets (skids) for shipment via UPS, FedEx, or other carriers. This role ensures that all outgoing shipments are organized, labeled correctly, and prepared for timely pickup. Schedule:
2nd shift, Monday - Friday, eight or more hours per day, five days per week based on business needs. Primary schedule will be 12:00 PM - 8:30 PM, or similar. Training may occur other times. Salary Range:
$18 To $20 Hourly Compensation commensurate with experience. At time, we are not engaging with agencies or third-party recruiters. Thank you for understanding. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Receive packed boxes from the packing line and stack them securely on skids according to shipment requirements. Ensure pallets are built safely and efficiently to prevent product damage during transit. Wrap and label pallets as required for UPS, FedEx, or other carrier pickups. Verify box counts and shipping information against order and packing slips. Assist with loading and unloading trucks as needed. Communicate with the Shipping Supervisor or Team Lead regarding any issues, delays, or damaged products. Complete and maintain all required paperwork, records, documents, etc. Regularly perform general housekeeping duties in your work area(s) Adhere to all safety policies and protocols and maintain a safe working environment Attend all department/company meetings Wear all assigned Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) when required. EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS EDUCATION, LICENSES, CERTIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCES
High School Diploma or GED equivalency, preferred One to three months related experience in a manufacturing environment or prior warehouse, shipping, or material handling experience The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, good physical stamina, and the ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment. No prior direct experience required. CRITICAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIREMENTS
Basic math skills and ability to read and write in English Effectively communicate with all members of the organization Ability to cross train and work in other departments and/or machines PHYSICAL DEMANDS
