Full Job Description Job Description/Responsibilities:

Responsibilities include purchase order placement, reschedule and cancellation activities. Maintain and monitor receiving and MRB discrepancies. Achieve cost savings based on standard pricing. Sources vendors to identify best prices and availability and ensure best values for issues. Ensures appropriate approvals are obtained for all purchases. Actively participates in ensuring overall product and supplier quality. Performs various purchasing assignments requiring professional judgement and ingenuity. Procures components, supplies, raw materials, and equipment necessary to meet production schedules within strict time constraints. Check requisitions and contacts vendors. Exercise a good working knowledge of materials and sources of supply to make purchases at prices consistent with quality and quantity requirements.

Job Requirements:

Excellent interpersonal and negotiating skills - ability to develop good working relationships. Strong organizational and time management skills. Able to work independently with little to no supervision. Experience in contract manufacturing or purchasing organization is required. Requires a college degree or equivalent experience. At least three years' related experience required. Must have prior experience in sourcing and procuring electronic components. Mechanical parts experience preferreda plus. Proficiency in ERP applications and Microsoft Office tools such as SAP, Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint. About the
