$25-27Contract-to-Hire Overview:
The Production Specialist supports manufacturing operations on an assembly line. This role works directly on the production floor alongside team members to improve processes, product quality, and overall manufacturing efficiency. The ideal candidate is hands-on, process-focused, and comfortable driving improvements in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.Accountabilities:
Partner with team members to improve assembly processes and workflow Identify inefficiencies and drive corrective actions to closure Support production schedules and resolve process-related issues impacting output Collaborate with quality personnel on root cause analysis, corrective actions, and process monitoring Support new product introductions and development builds Develop and maintain production-ready documentation Assist with non-maintenance downtime issues and support implementation of process changes Monitor equipment performance and perform minor setups, calibrations, and adjustments Assist operators by answering questions and demonstrating proper assembly techniques Perform spot checks to ensure quality standards are consistently met Stay current on process, equipment, and product changes within the manufacturing area Support compliance with safety, regulatory, and internal business control requirementsRequirements:
High school diploma preferred; associate degree a plus 4+ years of manufacturing or assembly experience (higher levels may require additional experience) Hands-on experience supporting production or assembly lines Ability to read and interpret work instructions, procedures, and basic schematics Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently on the production floor Experience with mechanical and/or electrical assembly preferred Comfortable working in a regulated manufacturing environment Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally with production, quality, and engineering teamsWork Environment & Physical Requirements:
