• Part-time, Full-time The Wine Foundry is a boutique custom winemaking facility located in Napa Valley's Crusher District.

We work with a diverse collection of premium wine brands and are seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented Production Assistant to support our winemaking and production operations team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone interested in winery operations, production logistics, and the business side of winemaking. The role combines winery administration, inventory management, production coordination, and occasional logistics support in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. The ideal candidate thrives on organization, communicates professionally, learns quickly, and enjoys keeping complex operations running smoothly. Responsibilities

• Enter and maintain daily wine work orders and production data in winery software systems
• Review work orders for accuracy and resolve data discrepancies
• Generate inventory, compliance, billing, and operational reports
• Reconcile database inventory with physical inventory counts
• Conduct periodic physical inventories and maintain inventory accuracy
• Support production logistics and coordination across departments
• Assist with grape and case-good pickups/deliveries using winery vehicles, forklifts and pallet jacks
• Must be able to climb ladders to safely access barrels, case goods, rooftops, and other winery areas as needed.
• Provide operational support to the production and winemaking team as needed Qualifications
• Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced winery environment
• Positive, professional attitude with strong communication skills
• Comfortable following detailed instructions while working independently
• Computer proficiency, including Excel and cloud-based systems
• Knowledge of winery operations or winemaking workflow preferred
• Cellar experience helpful but not required
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
