Job Description
PABCO® Gypsum, a division of PABCO® Building Products LLC, has provided quality gypsum board products and service for over 35 years. PABCO® Gypsum supplies a complete line of gypsum products for commercial and residential construction. Production Operator The Newark, CA plant is currently accepting resumes for a Production Operator . Your primary role is to operate and provide basic maintenance of our machines to manufacture the finished product and housekeeping of facility. What is the Job? Complete entry level training (basic production skills, inspections, and learning product and equipment terminology). Operate forklift (conduct pre-use inspections; adjusting or switching different fork types). Provides additional assistance during equipment failures. Assist with 'maintenance down days' and startup of production line procedures. Assists in general housekeeping responsibilities. Attends safety meetings and abides by all safety rules set forth by company and regulatory agencies; ensures that hazardous conditions are reported and corrected. All other tasks and/or responsibilities as assigned.
