6:00 pm to 7:00 am, alternating weekly between Wednesday to Saturday and Wednesday to Friday Overview Leading biotechnology company looking for an experienced Manufacturing Associate. Ideal candidates should have a Bachelor's degree in science or engineering, or an Associates degree in science or Biotech certificate with 2+ years of biotech manufacturing experience or other regulated industry. Responsibilities Understand process theory and equipment operation, supporting biopharmaceutical manufacturing processes such as mammalian cell culture, depth filtration, tangential flow filtration, column chromatography, centrifugation, protein purification, and formulation of bulk drug substance. Support process optimization initiatives and identify processing issues, contributing to effective solutions. Gain experience with automation systems including LIMS, MES, and PI. Review and provide feedback on operational procedures, assisting with the incorporation of new technologies, practices, and standards. Maintain compliance with cGMPs and utilize Quality systems like Deviations, CAPAs, Change Requests, and Action/Alert Reports. Participate in projects, support new business systems such as TrackWise and ERP, and support trending of department metrics. Perform strenuous, repetitive work including bending, reaching, climbing stairs and ladders, kneeling, and equipment connections. Independently lift, dispense, push, or pull items weighing approximately 25 pounds. Work in loud environments and utilize personal protective equipment as required. Adhere to various shift schedules and off-hours as necessary. Requirements Bachelor's degree in science or engineering, or an Associates degree in science or Biotech certificate with 2+ years of biotech manufacturing experience or other regulated industry. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work effectively in a team environment, with conflict resolution and collaboration skills. Good initiative to identify improvement areas and implement solutions.
