Job Summary:
Production Operators are responsible for performing a wide range of production operations to produce and package parts for our hands-on, educational programs. In addition to these manufacturing responsibilities, Production Operators will maintain daily warehouse operations, ensuring a safe, functional, and compliant workspace. This is repetitive, hands-on work that will require strong attention to detail as you inspect what you produce and what those before you have produced to ensure only acceptable parts are passing through the production line. You will be expected to have experience operating and maintaining tools such as a router, sander, oscillating multi-tool, drill press, and more. You will be responsible for digitally logging your production times and the quantities of parts you produced on a tablet and on physical travelers during your shift. You will work alongside your team to ensure we are meeting our production deadlines and identifying any issues along the way. There are level 1 and level 2 positions available for this role. This role reports to our Production Foreman and Senior Production Associate. Your onboarding process will consist of: 1:1 training with your manager and other team members Shadowing existing employees to obtain an understanding of any relevant processes Requirements 2+ years of experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment High school diploma or equivalent Available Monday
  • Friday, 8:00 am
  • 4:30 pm.
Occasional overtime and Saturdays (with advanced notice) Must be able to pass a background check Must possess a valid driver's license and reliable form of transportation Desire to work in a fast-paced environment and take ownership of process improvements Knowledge of or desire to learn all shop tools Proficient understanding / application of measuring tools Basic shop safety & cleaning skills Eye for detail with a high degree of accuracy Ability to work well with others and proactive communication skills Ability to lift heavy materials (over 50lbs) Self-starter

Our Hiring & Onboarding Process:
Phone screen with HR Hiring Manager in-person interview This role's starting pay rate ranges between $17
  • $23 per hour depending on skills, experience, and level.
Reference checks and a cleared standard background check are required upon job offer. Onboarding and training will consist largely of hands-on training to our production processes, facilities, tools, and completing written and hands-on assessments. We expect onboarding and training to take approximately one (1) month. You will receive regular feedback from your supervisor and our QC Specialist on the quality of your work. Performance is reviewed annually and / or bi-annually depending on your supervisor's preference.
