Production Lead - Raw Swings

Job Description At the direction of the department supervisor assists in training employees to work in a safe and efficient manner Adheres to GMPs and pre-set safety standards Monitors predetermined quality and safety standards within assigned work areas. report findings to supervisor for follow-up Follows break and lunch schedules as determined by department supervisor Follows rotation schedules as determined by department supervisor Strives to achieve pre-determined plant production goals and schedules Assists co-workers in performing department job tasks safely and efficiently Assists in the completion of reports (e.g., production, QC, etc.) Other duties as assigned by the supervisor (i.e., hand out supplies, safety inspections etc.) At the direction of the department supervisor assists in training employees to work in a safe and efficient manner Adheres to GMPs and pre-set safety standards Monitors predetermined quality and safety standards within assigned work areas. report findings to supervisor for follow-up Follows break and lunch schedules as determined by department supervisor Follows rotation schedules as determined by department supervisor Strives to achieve pre-determined plant production goals and schedules Assists co-workers in performing department job tasks safely and efficiently Assists in the completion of reports (e.g., production, QC, etc.) Other duties as assigned by the supervisor (i.e., hand out supplies, safety inspections etc.) Qualifications High school graduate or equivalent preferred Must be able to communicate production details to department supervision and the management team Must be able to communicate effectively with co-workers and be able to read, and write in English Must be able to perform math calculations to include percentages Must be able to follow detailed instructions and multi-task duties in a safe and efficient manner Must be able to stand for prolonged periods of time (8-10 hours) on uneven surfaces, and work in wet, cold and/or hot environments Must be able to solve and correct minor problems and adjustments to production equipment Must be able to work flexible hours and be able to lift 5-50lbs Must have a good safety, performance & attendance record Previous experience operating production machinery preferred Equal Opportunity Employer/Protected Veterans/Individuals with Disabilities This employer is required to notify all applicants of their rights pursuant to federal employment laws.
