Position Summary Old Town Baking Company is seeking a reliable, hardworking Bread Production Worker to support our bakery production operations. This position plays an important role in maintaining efficient production flow while ensuring product quality, food safety, and consistency.

Please Note:

This is a physically demanding position in a fast-paced bakery production environment. Employees are on their feet for the majority of the shift and perform continuous physical work throughout the workday. Essential Job Duties Load dough into shaping machines according to production specifications. Place shaped dough into bread molds accurately and consistently. Transfer filled bread molds onto racks for proofing and baking. Monitor machine operation and identify production issues when they arise. Safely unload baked bread from racks following established procedures. Package finished products according to company standards. Label products accurately and prepare orders for distribution. Handle products carefully to maintain quality and presentation. Maintain clean and organized work areas in compliance with sanitation and food safety requirements. Follow all safety procedures and proper equipment handling practices. Perform additional duties as assigned to support production operations. Qualifications Previous experience in food production, manufacturing, warehouse, or other physically demanding work environments preferred. Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment. Strong attention to detail and product consistency. Ability to follow instructions, production schedules, and established procedures. Dependable attendance and punctuality. Team-oriented with effective communication skills. Flexibility to work nights, weekends, overtime, and holidays as needed. Physical Requirements This position requires continuous physical activity throughout the entire shift.

Candidates must be able to:

Stand and walk for the entirety of shift. Perform frequent bending, stooping, reaching, twisting, and repetitive movements throughout the workday. Repeatedly lift, carry, push, and pull products, trays, pans, and materials weighing up to 50 pounds. Push and pull loaded bakery racks throughout the facility. Maintain productivity while performing physically active work for the duration of the shift. Work safely in a warm production environment near ovens and baking equipment. Use hands and arms continuously to handle dough, molds, racks, and finished products.
