1st Shift, Monday-Friday, 4:00 AM - 12:30 PM Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Metal Grinder to join our manufacturing team in Rancho Cucamonga, CA. This position is responsible for grinding, smoothing, and conditioning metal parts to remove defects and prepare surfaces for finishing operations. The ideal candidate will have experience operating hand grinders, swing grinders, and other abrasive equipment in a manufacturing or fabrication environment. Responsibilities Inspect metal parts and surfaces for defects, burrs, sharp edges, and other imperfections. Operate large swing grinders and hand grinders to remove defects and condition parts for further processing. Select appropriate abrasive belts, wheels, and discs based on material specifications and finishing requirements. Grind and smooth metal surfaces to remove weld material, scratches, burrs, and surface defects. Polish finished areas using finer abrasives to achieve required surface quality standards. Replace worn abrasive belts, grinding wheels, and discs as needed. Conduct visual and tactile inspections to ensure parts meet quality standards. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment. Follow all safety procedures, company policies, and manufacturing requirements. Support production goals while maintaining high-quality workmanship. Perform other related duties as assigned. Required Qualifications Minimum 2 years of experience in metal grinding, deburring, fabrication, metal finishing, or a related manufacturing role. Experience using hand grinders, swing grinders, and abrasive finishing tools. Ability to identify and remove surface defects while maintaining product quality. Knowledge of grinding techniques, abrasive materials, and metal finishing processes. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. Ability to read and follow work instructions and safety procedures. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Preferred Qualifications Experience in metal fabrication, welding, machining, or industrial manufacturing environments. Familiarity with quality inspection standards and manufacturing best practices. Experience working with steel, stainless steel, aluminum, or other metal components.
Pay:
$22.00 - $25.00 per hour

Do you have experience operating hand grinders, swing grinders, angle grinders, or similar grinding equipment. Are you Able to remove burrs, weld splatter, sharp edges, scratches, and other surface defects from metal components. Do you have Knowledge of abrasive wheels, belts, discs, and grinding techniques. Are you able to inspect parts visually and manually for surface defects and quality requirements. Do you have experience in working in a manufacturing, fabrication, metal finishing, or industrial environment. Are you able to to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods during the shift. Do you have experience with stainless steel, aluminum, carbon steel, or other metal materials. Do you have experience using pneumatic grinding tools and finishing equipment. Experience interpreting blueprints, drawings, or manufacturing specifications. Do you have Forklift or material handling experience.
