The ideal candidate will possess mechanical knowledge and experience in operating various tools and equipment. This role supports various production departments such as converting and shipping, with the ability to move between different departments and tasks as needed. Duties Assists in various areas of the plant as needed, stepping in to support different teams or equipment based on production requirements. Stays informed about the operation of all machine centers to provide effective support across multiple roles. Maintain a clean and organized work area within the warehouse or factory setting. Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment. Monitors machine efficiencies and speeds to ensure production levels meet or exceed standards, making necessary adjustments. Help track, manage, and document machine waste generated during the assigned shift. Assists in performing preventative maintenance checks according to established procedures & schedules. Works safely with converting and shipping crews during major and minor down time events to ensure machine resumes production with the least amount of downtime possible. Offers support to crews during breaks, shift changes, and vacations to maintain smooth operations. Keeps production area free of debris; responsible for daily, weekly and monthly housekeeping duties. Performs other related duties to contribute to the success of the operation, as assigned by operators and supervisors. Requirements 1 -2 years of Corrugated Industry experience preferred.
