Job Description

As a Production Specialist at Bring a Trailer, your job will be to guide sellers through the online auction process. You'll assist the seller in moving from a completed submission for a collector car to a successful auction experience, while providing excellent customer service from start to finish. The ideal candidate may have a background in technical writing with a passion for autos or may be working with customers in the auto space with a flair for writing. Auto mechanics with a love of writing are encouraged to apply! This is a full-time position that can be done remotely. Please note that we can only consider applicants from the following states:

For consideration, resumes must be submitted with a cover letter and salary requirements. What You'll Do You will prep listings for launching as live auctions, including creating an inventory of seller submission data and photos and organizing photos in accordance with BaT standards. You will work with sellers and team members on adding informational updates to listings. You will act as the point of contact for sellers during the initial stages of listing creation up to the point of auction go-live and respond to sellers in a timely and professional manner. You will provide customer support such as answering questions, giving advice or tips, and address seller concerns/worries. You will manage and prioritize work on a large queue of listings in various stages prior to the listing going live in auction and complete an assigned work queue daily. You will shepherd listings through our internal system and serve as the "original expert" on the history of a listing as it is touched by other teams. You may perform additional duties and projects on an as-needed basis. Who You Are You have excellent interpersonal skills and high levels of motivation, integrity, and warmth. You are methodical when it comes to organization! You have the ability to manage many different stakeholders and projects in a fast-paced environment. You possess the tact to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion, and the ability to gain seller's confidence and trust. You are solutions-oriented and have the ability to resolve conflict independently with patience and empathy. But you also know when to ask for guidance! You have a can-do attitude and a flexible and eager attitude toward helping with company needs as they arise. You have domain knowledge and an interest in the kind of vehicles we feature on BaT each day.
