Press Operator-1st Shift (Entry-Level)

Job Title:

Press Operator - 1st Shift Job Description We are seeking a Press Operator for our 1st Shift from 4AM to 2:30PM, with flexibility for overtime work every Saturday. This position involves working in an ITAR facility specializing in rubber parts for the aerospace industry, utilizing injection molding machines and hot presses.

Pay:

$17.50 Press Operator Responsibilities Mold parts according to written specifications provided. Remove parts, clean tools, load presses with materials for new cycles. Inspect molded parts frequently and place products in manufacturing tote boxes. Operate presses efficiently and timely, meeting quality and quantity requirements. Ensure production rate meets or exceeds standard production levels. Provide accurate production information. Essential Skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Eager and positive attitude. Mechanical aptitude. Additional Skills & Qualifications Spanish speaking only is acceptable. Motivation to work in manufacturing and commit long-term. No previous experience or resume required, entry-level position. Why Work Here? Work Environment The facility specializes in rubber parts production for the aerospace industry and operates numerous injection molding machines and hot presses. It maintains a lean six sigma environment and is extremely organized, with designated spaces for all products and supplies. While machines can become hot, the facility is equipped with AC units to ensure a comfortable working temperature. English is not required, as most managers are Spanish-speaking, and the facility embraces diverse cultural backgrounds. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Santa Ana, CA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $17.50 - $18.50/hr.
