ESSENTIAL DUTIES

You may assist in assembling switches, kit picking parts for assembly, receiving and labeling parts from Machine shop, and operating machines and other essential tasks as needed. Use materials and equipment necessary to perform the manufacturing process according to the guidelines of the product ensuring that they meet quality conditions. May cover vacancies due to sickness, injury, training, personal reasons or vacations in the manufacturing positions within the plant. Maintain good housekeeping on and around equipment and work area. This is an ongoing function that can be performed while the equipment is in operation. Maintain production standards in terms of efficiencies. Under supervision fill the Work Orders coming from the various departments by checking the availability of the materials in the Computer System. Make the appropriate change in the Computer System to reflect the outgoing of materials, in order to have an accurate inventory. Distribute the completed work order to the appropriate department. Report to the Manufacturing Manager material that are out of stock. Work orders must be held and reported immediately. Perform periodic internal inventories. Responsible for other tasks as may be required for the efficient operation of the department. Run and inspect own production. Report to supervisor for changes. Check tolerances. Any other duties required by the supervisor.

SKILLS / ABILITIES

Ability to read, write and speak English and follow specific instructions. Ability to take initiative and to report any work related problem to lead person or supervisor immediately.

Must be able to demonstrate excellent teamwork and be able to multi-task. Employee must be flexible to move into a vacant position and or perform certain needed job functions. Physical Demands need to be able to lift (up to 30 lbs), push, pull, reach, kneel, sort and stand or sit for long periods of time, as needed per position. EXPERIENCE

Entry level. Some assembly experience a plus.

EDUCATION / TRAINING

High school level or equivalent preferred.
