Part-time Job Summary The Assistant Team Lead supports the Senior Team Lead in overseeing the day-to-day operations of the laundry production facility. They ensure smooth workflow, efficient use of resources, and high-quality service delivery. This role focuses on maintaining operational efficiency, coordinating between production teams, customer service, delivery schedules, and ensuring customer satisfaction through timely service. Key Responsibilities Production Oversight Supervise daily laundry processing operations, including washing, drying, folding and packaging. Monitor equipment functionality and report maintenance issues promptly. Ensure production targets are met while maintaining high-quality standards. Ability to work to deadline and reach production objectives and goals. Assistant Team Lead must be prepared to step in, in the absence of the Team Lead. Team Coordination Manage and motivate a team of production workers, drivers, and support staff. Organize schedules, assign tasks, and ensure proper staffing to meet demand. Train new employees on equipment use, safety protocols, and company procedures. Logistics and Delivery Coordinate with the delivery team to ensure timely pickups and drop-offs. Monitor inventory levels for detergents, chemicals, and other supplies, ensuring availability. Become familiar and develop expertise with Logistical Software Quality Assurance Conduct quality checks on processed laundry to meet customer expectations. Address customer complaints or issues related to production or delivery. Reporting and Compliance Maintain production and delivery records for performance tracking. Assist in ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards.

Qualifications and Skills Education :

High school diploma or equivalent; Two years of college or equivalent certifications is a plus.

Experience :

2+ years of experience in production management, logistics, or a related role; experience in the laundry industry is an advantage.

Skills :

Strong organizational and multitasking abilities. English and Spanish language, with good communication and writing skills Leadership and team management skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and logistics/production software. Key Competencies Problem-solving and decision-making abilities. Attention to detail and a commitment to quality. Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Flexibility to adapt to changing demands and schedules. Work Environment This position requires working in a laundry production facility, which may involve exposure to heat, cold, and cleaning chemicals. Customer clothing processing occurs in the evening hours in the Santa Clarita area requiring the successful candidate to work evening/night hours, Monday through Thursday, from 5pm to finish. Finishing time can be as late as 2am dependent upon volume.
