This position requires a person to fabricate parts from various materials to very tight aerospace tolerances. Our established aerospace manufacturing company is a team-oriented work environment that has competitive compensation and benefits! The position will be responsible for the fabrication of complicated parts having many interrelated dimensions, radius', coordinated and exacting tolerances requiring the layout of parts, the selection and use of hand tools and/or the setup and operation of various fixtures. Manufacturing is to blueprint, sample part and/or production tooling. Specific requirements include but are not limited to: 1. Tube bending of materials such as Inconel, Aluminum, Stainless Steel & Titanium. 2. Requires the ability to setup benders and proofing. 3. Trouble shoot problems in production and development. 4. Assist other tube benders with technical questions and interface with other departments. I.E.: Production and Quality. 5. Read and understand blueprints. 6. Perform tasks, work per written procedures and work instructions. 7. Utilize precision tube bend inspection methods. 8. Recommend, implement continuous improvement methods & equipment performance. 9. Perform other duties as assigned 10. Work 4 day - 10-hr workweek. Requirements 1. High School education or equivalent required. 2. Must be able to read/write English and have basic math skills. 3. Must be detail oriented and able to follow directions with an impeccable work ethic. Physical Requirements 1. Must be able to lift up to 50lbs daily. 2. Must be able to walk, sit, stand & bend as needed. Preferred Skills & Experience 1. Three to five years of experience in tube bending machines. 2. Familiarity with tight tolerances. 3. Ability to read and interpret blue prints. 4. Experience in aerospace industry.
