Job Description

Position Summary We are seeking motivated entry-level Biopharma Manufacturing Associates to support both upstream and downstream production processes. This role is ideal for recent graduates looking to begin a career in biopharmaceutical manufacturing. Associates will work in a regulated environment to produce high-quality biologics while adhering to safety and compliance standards.
Key Responsibilities Upstream Manufacturing:
Assist in cell culture operations, including media preparation, bioreactor setup, and monitoring Perform aseptic techniques in controlled environments Monitor process parameters and document data accurately Support equipment cleaning, setup, and sterilization
Downstream Manufacturing:
Assist with purification processes such as filtration, chromatography, and buffer preparation Operate and maintain downstream processing equipment Collect samples and perform in-process checks Ensure proper documentation of batch records and procedures
General Duties:
Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) Maintain cleanroom standards and proper gowning procedures Participate in shift handovers and team meetings Identify and report deviations or process issues Support continuous improvement initiatives Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Biology, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biopharmaceutical Sciences, or related field (required) Strong attention to detail and ability to follow strict protocols Basic understanding of laboratory techniques and equipment Effective communication and teamwork skills Willingness to work flexible shifts, including evenings or weekends Preferred Skills (Not Required) Internship or academic lab experience in biomanufacturing or related field Familiarity with GMP or regulated environments Basic knowledge of upstream/downstream bioprocessing Work Environment Cleanroom and manufacturing environment requiring gowning (PPE) Standing for extended periods and lifting up to 10 lbs Exposure to biological materials and chemicals under controlled conditions 4/10 AND
