Production Operator

Position:

Production Operator Lineage Metals seeks to hire a Production Operator for our Vacaville, CA location. Key candidate attributes include a safety and quality mindset, with proven self-start and team player experience. The ideal candidate will bring a desire to learn and grow with our organization.

Role/Responsibilities:

The Production Operator will be responsible to support activities in a production environment that include but are not limited to: Building and maintaining packaging materials, operate forklifts, support machine operators with production activities and other duties as requested by leadership.

Requirements:

• Safety first mindset.
• Must be knowledgeable and be able to demonstrate the use of measurement tools such as rulers, measuring tapes and micrometers.
• Experience with hand tools such as nail guns, staplers and wood cutting saws.
• Must be able to stand for long periods of time, bend, stoop, and lift objects over head.
• Ability to read, write, type, and verbally communicate fluently in English.
• Ability to work up to 12 hour per day. Hours, days and shifts depend on season and production schedule, and are not guaranteed
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
• Proficiency in forklift operation.
• Reliable transportation.
• Successful completion of a drug screen.

Additional Preferences:

• Fork-lift/powered lift training and experience
• Mechanical background
• OSHA 10 certification

Working Environment:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to work near moving mechanical parts, dusty conditions, high noise environments, and extreme temperatures. The facility is an industrial manufacturing plant. Pay:

$22.00 - $28.00 per hour
