INC., a leader in woven label and commercial printing manufacturing, is seeking a dedicated Production Assistant (Temporary) to support day-to-day production operations. This role is well-suited for individuals with a community college background and foundational computer skills who are eager to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The Production Assistant will play a key role in ensuring production efficiency, maintaining quality standards, and supporting the overall success of the production team. Key Responsibilities Assist production staff with the setup, operation, and finishing of woven label and printing jobs. Prepare and organize materials to ensure smooth workflow and timely completion of production tasks. Inspect finished products to verify quality, accuracy, and consistency with production specifications. Record job details and production data accurately using Excel, ERP, and internal tracking systems. Support packaging, labeling, and shipping functions as required. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment in compliance with company safety and quality standards. Provide assistance with procurement and purchasing activities to enhance production efficiency. Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to coordinate daily production activities. Qualifications Community college education or equivalent practical experience. Basic proficiency in computer applications, including Microsoft Excel, email, and data entry systems. Strong attention to detail, organization, and accuracy in task execution. Ability to lift up to 25 lbs and stand for extended periods during production shifts. Demonstrated willingness to learn new processes and work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment. Previous experience in a manufacturing or printing environment is preferred but not required.
