Empty Can Feeding Wage:
Bracket VII Hours:
2nd Shift, 2:00 p.m. - 10:30 p.m.
Days Off:
Saturday and Sunday (Possible split days off) Duties and responsibilities but not limited to: Ability to push cans and fill out proper can usage logs; Ability to do rework and complete rework recap sheets; Ability to palletize product and fill out pallet tags properly according to specific needs; Ability to maintain general housekeeping in plant; Ability to clean walls, mopping in work areas, and overall maintaining of general plant; Advise foreman or supervisor of potential problems; Keep area neat and clean; Working knowledge of AFP procedures and record keeping pertaining to department; Have knowledge of departmental and job-specific safety regulations. Attend safety meetings; Compliance with all applicable policies, attendance requirements, house and safety rules and the Collective Bargaining Agreement; May rotate to various other positions and perform other duties as assigned. Other duties as assigned.
Experience, Knowledge and Skills:
Must be able to abide by The AFP Mission Statement dealing with customers, quality, innovation, integrity and ethics values. Must be able to value people, teamwork, safety, excellence, and have pride and dignity for work performed. Must be capable of properly setting up codes Must be able to alert maintenance, foreman or supervisor to potential problems Must posses a mechanical aptitude and be able to make minor machine adjustments. Must abide by company rules Must be able to communicate clearly both orally and written form.
