Production Manager Job Summary:
The Production Flow Specialist is essential for the smooth operation of our grading teams, acting as the key facilitator to maintain a constant feed of products to the production lines. This role involves prepping products for immediate grading and executing the final digital close-out of inventory. The core objective is to eliminate downtime for graders, while simultaneously ensuring a work area that is clean, safe, and organized.Responsibilities:
Production Line Support:
Proactively stock each grading line with products to ensure continuous workflow without interruptions. Safely cut open all incoming items at the grading stations so graders can focus solely on the grading process.Waste and Facility Management:
Continuously remove cardboard, recycling, and garbage as they accumulate at grading stations to maintain a safe environment. Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment in accordance with company safety standards.Inventory and System Integrity:
Responsible for digitally closing out pallets from the BuyWander system once they have been fully processed. Use a smartphone and scanner to ensure 100% accuracy in inventory location scans and system updates.Equipment Operation:
Pallet jacks and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently. Follow all established safety procedures, especially when using safety knives and handling heavy materials.Requirements:
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent. Ability to regularly lift and move up to 50 pounds. Fluent with technology and able to use various computer and phone programs to accomplish tasks. Strong attention to detail and a proactive, anticipatory mindset. Previous experience in a warehouse or production environment is preferred.Essential Physical Requirements:
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods. Ability to lift, carry, and move up to 50 pounds. Ability to bend, stoop, and reach. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Communicate in English (Required)Schedule and Wage:
Schedule:
Full Time (Monday - Friday, typical hours 7:45 am - 4:30).Wage:
