Responsibilities Assist in the preparation and processing of organic dog treats according to established recipes and quality standards Operate food processing equipment safely and efficiently, including mixers, ovens, and packaging machinery Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the production area in compliance with food safety regulations such as HACCP and GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) Follow all FDA regulations related to food safety and labeling requirements for pet products Conduct quality checks throughout production to ensure consistency, freshness, and adherence to specifications Package finished products carefully to prevent contamination and ensure proper presentation Support inventory management by tracking ingredients, supplies, and finished goods within the food processing plant Skills Knowledge of FDA regulations, HACCP principles, CGMP standards, and food safety practices within a manufacturing environment Experience with food production or processing in a commercial setting, preferably within the pet or food industry Strong understanding of sanitation procedures essential for maintaining a clean and safe food processing plant Mechanical aptitude with the ability to operate and troubleshoot processing equipment Basic math skills for measuring ingredients and verifying quantities accurately Familiarity with packaging processes and materials used in food manufacturing Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and commitment to quality assurance Join us in creating wholesome treats that pets love!
