PRODUCTION ADMINISTRATOR

THE ROLE
The Production Administrator supports daily production operations by maintaining accurate schedules, tracking materials, and organizing production documentation. This role acts as a key link between production, project management, and field teams to ensure alignment on timelines and material needs. The position helps drive efficiency and accuracy across operations by managing data, identifying discrepancies, and supporting overall plant coordination. Salary range $28-$32/Hour. Based on location and experience.
Shift:
6am-2:30pm

WHAT YOU'LL DO
Maintain and update production schedules and lists based on project needs Coordinate material requirements with project managers and field teams Support communication between shop, project, and field personnel Review and verify bills of materials (BOMs) and production documents Track inventory levels and assist with material ordering Organize and prioritize production documentation (tickets, drawings, schedules) Identify and report discrepancies in materials or documentation Maintain accurate records, files, and production data Follow safety protocols while working in and around the production floor Support production team needs to meet daily schedules and quality goals
WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR
The ideal candidate is highly organized and detail-oriented, with experience supporting production or operational teams. They are proactive, communicate effectively across departments, and can manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. This individual is dependable, accurate, and focused on keeping production operations running smoothly and efficiently.
IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE 2-4
years of administrative experience in a fast-paced or industrial environment Experience supporting production, shop, or plant operations preferred Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and data entry systems Experience with scheduling, reporting, and document control Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to work independently and in a team environment Comfortable working in a fast-paced, hands-on setting
WORKING CONDITIONS/PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Occasional visits to active plant and field locations are required based on operational needs. Ability to wear all required PPE, including but not limited to safety boots, safety glasses, hearing protection, high visibility vest, hard hat, and other PPE as required while in the plant and field. Must be able to stand, walk, and navigate active plant and field environments as needed. Must be able to climb stairs, walk on uneven surfaces, and safely move through industrial work areas. May be exposed to moving equipment, machinery, and other standard industrial hazards. May be exposed to outdoor weather conditions, including heat, cold, wind, rain, as well as noise, dust, and vibration.
