We use the best materials, design everything to last, and back it with a lifetime warranty, even when a dog destroys it. Every collar, leash, and harness is assembled by hand by a small team. We're six people today, you would be the seventh. We're hiring a part-time Manufacturing Associate to help build product. The core work is assembly, cutting, packaging, and repairs. No specific experience is required, but this is not passive warehouse work. You need to care about details, follow specs, and take pride in making something correctly. Most of the day is spent standing, using your hands, and moving between assembly, packaging, cutting, and inventory. The work is physical and detail-sensitive. If you like making things and getting into a rhythm, it can be a great fit.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Assemble collars, leashes, and accessories to spec from weekly manufacturing orders Run the embroidery machine for custom name orders Package and label finished product carefully Use an electric screwdriver and jig to attach rope clamps Cut rope and webbing to length Handle warranty repairs on gear customers send back Count and organize raw materials Help with the occasional walk-in customer, phone call, or whatever else a small shop needs

SCHEDULE
This is a 20-25 hours per week, on-site role in Golden. During your first 90 days, you'll work Monday through Thursday within normal shop hours (9am-5pm), while you're training and someone else is on-site. We'll set a consistent weekly schedule together, usually around 5 hours/day. After 90 days, you'll have more flexibility to choose your hours. We care more about consistent, high-quality work than the exact time of day you're in the shop.
HIRING PROCESS
After a 10min intro call, you'd come in for 2 hours (paid) to get an idea of what the role is like, while actually making products. It's a job we don't expect experience in, but we do expect you to care about the products you're making. We also understand manufacturing isn't for everybody, so the sample shift helps to show you what it's like. Relevant experience is a plus (especially embroidery, assembly, packaging, warehouse work, sewing), but we'll train the right person.
