Production Associate Job Description The Production Associate plays a vital role by assembling parts, ensuring quality, operating basic machinery, and supporting daily production tasks in a clean and precise work environment. This position is ideal for individuals who are detail-oriented, eager to learn new skills, and interested in pursuing a long-term career in manufacturing. You will receive hands-on training and work alongside experienced machinists, technicians, and engineers in a modern facility recognized for its commitment to high quality and innovation. Responsibilities Assemble small and precise parts with attention to detail. Conduct visual inspections to ensure product quality. Operate and maintain basic machinery for production tasks. Support everyday production activities in a clean environment. Follow detailed instructions to meet production standards. Communicate effectively with team members and contribute to a collaborative work environment. Essential Skills Attention to detail for handling small parts. Ability to follow detailed instructions. Basic mechanical aptitude. Capability to use or learn precision measuring tools. Strong teamwork and communication skills. Reliability and a strong work ethic. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience in manufacturing, warehouse, or assembly work. Comfortable using hand tools or small equipment. Basic math skills including measuring and counting. Work Environment Work in a clean, modern manufacturing space producing small, high-precision parts for industries such as aerospace, medical devices, automotive, and scientific equipment. The environment is characterized by its high standards of quality and reliability. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Deep River, CT. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $21.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
