Opportunity:

The KPO Technician will focus primarily on hands on shop floor Kaizen activities, performs a variety of Continuous Improvement tasks in support of the Kaizen Promotion Office. Aides in creating a safe, efficient, and effective Lean operation.

Location:

Manchester, CT This role will be onsite 100% of the time. It is a 1st shift position with core hours of 7:00 PM - 3:30 PM.

Responsibilities:

Interfaces with all functional departments and handle Continuous Improvement requests Undertakes independent projects as needed in support of department Supports Supervisors, Team Leaders and Associates in the application of the Lean principles Assists in the creation of Work Instructions, Daily Management, 6 Sigma and TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) Documents Assists in designs and fabricates equipment from Creform Tubing and other materials Assists in the completion of Kaizen Newspaper Action Items Participates in and supports Kaizen Event Adheres to all Core Values (Health and Safety, Quality, Customer Service, Development of People, Integrity, Corporate Citizenship, Continuous Improvement, Respect). Adheres to all Core Competencies (Communication, Teamwork, Achieving Results, Commitment to Continuous Improvement, Judgement). Other job-related duties as assigned

Required Qualifications:

High School Diploma or equivalent 1-2 years in continuous improvement related experience Must be authorized to work in the U.S. on a full-time basis without sponsorship now or in the future. The Company cannot offer employment to visa holders who require employer sponsorship in the future or cannot work now on a full-time basis. Must be able to perform work subject to

ITAR/EAR

regulations.

Preferred Qualifications:

Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma methodologies Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint Associate Degree or equivalent experience

Physical Requirements:

Requires mobility in a manufacturing plant environment while using Personal Protective Equipment. Must be able to frequently sit, stand and walk. Must be able to lift and carry up to 15 pounds. Must be able to have prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
