Salumificio G.B. Inc. is a USDA inspected food processing facility located in Milford, CT. Salumificio G.B. Inc. produces artisanal Italian style cured meats. The company began operations in 2024 with substantial annual growth. Career opportunities are becoming available with the company's growth given the necessity for more specialized and skilled roles. Responsibilities Trimming to remove fat and other unwanted aspects of raw pork Supporting roles in the processing of Pork Assist in the fabrication of food products, ensuring quality standards are met. General use of a knife or other tools General use of processing machinery Follow HACCP protocols to maintain food safety throughout the production process. Proper weighing, labeling, bagging, packing and boxing finished product Sanitate production equipment and work areas to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations. Moving and lifting material and items over 50lbs Ability and willingness to work in environments under 50 degrees fahrenheit Washing, Peeling, and Packaging of finished products Ensuring food safety and quality Report any equipment malfunctions or safety concerns to supervisors promptly. Qualifications Knife experience

• Previous experience in the food industry is preferred but not required.
• Familiarity with HACCP principles and USDA regulations is a plus.
• Basic math skills for accurate measurements and calculations.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Willingness to learn new processes and techniques related to food processing.
• Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds as needed.
