Job Overview We are seeking a Production Control Specialist to join our team. As a Production Control Specialist, you will be responsible for coordinating and managing manufacturing schedules to ensure products are produced on time and to the highest quality standards. This role bridges the gap between sales, procurement, and the production floor. Job Responsibilities Create, release, and maintain manufacturing work orders. Develop and execute production schedules based on demand forecasts, customer delivery requirements, and shop capacity. Monitor inventory levels of raw materials and finished goods to prevent production delays and optimize carrying costs. Coordinate priorities with supervisors, programmers, engineering, quality and purchasing. Review capacity, lead times, and material availability to identify scheduling conflicts. Expedite critical jobs to ensure customer commitments and delivery dates are achieved. Communicate schedule changes and production status to internal stakeholders. Assist with customer delivery requirements and schedule updates. Track production metrics, identify scheduling deviations, and generate performance reports for management. Job Skills and Requirements High School Diploma 2+ years of experience in production control, planning, scheduling, or manufacturing operations Strong organizational and time management skills Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and ERP/MRP systems Excellent verbal and written communication skills High attention to detail and problem-solving abilities Knowledge of CNC machining processes and manufacturing workflows preferred. Must be authorized to work in the U.S. Physical Requirements Ability to work in both office and manufacturing environments. Frequent use of computers and standard office equipment. Occasional walking throughout the production facility.
Pay:
$30.00 - $37.00 per hour
