Job Description
About us Stencil Ease is a small close-knit company manufacturing and shipping stencils in Old Saybrook. We have been operating for over 30 years and have provided steady employment during that time. There is a chance for salary increase and improvement. We can develop skills and capabilities and provide opportunities. Many of our employees have gone from us to get significant jobs in related fields. Production, Packing, and Shipping Specialist. This job is a key part of our internal team preparing products and packaging them according to specifications for the appropriate customer. Operating CNC laser cutters. This task will require picking up sheets of plastic that are up to 30 lbs. Must be able to accurately use computers to pull files and adjust machine settings. Tasks can include hand-packing products in bags and boxes. Box weights up to 50 lbs. Operating bagging, machines, paper cutters, and laser cutters. Learning to operate our machines and processes is key to increasing pay. All of our tasks can be learned in a few days so that as you gain experience, you can increase your income. Includes tasks of organizing materials, setting up the workstation, completing the task as well as keeping track of what is accomplished. Light clean-up and maintenance of your work areas are part of the job. We have some flexibility in your actual hours and in the fall and wintertime can reduce hours. This is a great job for someone who is also going to school. Pay is commensurate with the productivity and reliability of the employee. This is a great job for a reliable, diligent worker.
