Job Description
Machine Operators, Inspectors, Production Associates Company Overview A leading manufacturer of high-precision custom needle and tubular components for the medical device industry. We pride ourselves on delivering quality products that meet the rigorous standards of healthcare professionals worldwide. We are looking for detail-oriented, reliable individuals to join our production team in Wallingford. Role Summary As a Production Technician , you will be a vital part of our manufacturing process. This versatile role involves everything from operating specialized machinery to ensuring our products meet strict quality standards in a cleanroom environment. If you enjoy hands-on work and have a "sharp" eye for detail, you'll fit right in.
Key Responsibilities Machine Operation:
Set up and operate production machinery to manufacture tubular components according to technical specifications.Assembly & Sorting:
Perform manual assembly of small components and sort parts based on size, type, or quality requirements.Visual & Cleanroom Inspection:
Conduct thorough inspections of finished goods (often under magnification) to identify defects. Maintain strict adherence to cleanroom protocols to prevent contamination. Finishing (Deburring): Use specialized tools to remove burrs or imperfections from metal parts, ensuring smooth surfaces and precise edges.Packaging:
Securely package finished products for shipment, ensuring all labeling and documentation are accurate.Quality Documentation:
Maintain clear and accurate production logs and quality records to comply with ISO and medical regulatory standards.Qualifications Education:
High School Diploma or equivalent.Experience:
Previous experience in a manufacturing or medical device environment is preferred but not required—we are willing to train the right candidate.Dexterity:
Strong hand-eye coordination and the ability to handle very small, delicate parts. Attention toDetail:
A commitment to "zero-defect" quality and the ability to spot minute inconsistencies.Physical Requirements:
