Production Operator

Primary Duties & Responsibilities Correctly identify and build molds according to casting schedule Assist in building loads for carbonization kilns Assist in breaking down carbonization kiln loads Clean infiltrated product, using the grit-blasting machines, per procedure Maintain grit-blasting machines with basic preventive and routine maintenance (daily) Follow standard work procedures and detailed instruction Prioritize in a multi-task work cell Keep accurate written documentation Maintain clean, safe and organized work environment Assist in preparing and breaking down of furnace loads Education & Experience Work effectively with minimal supervision. Able to get along well with others. Basic proficiency in data entry Good communication (oral and written) skills. Ability to keep accurate records. Working Conditions Manufacturing environment, exposure to dust Physical Requirements Able to frequently lift/push/pull objects that are 50 pounds (or heavier with assistance) repeatedly. Able to sit, stand, bend, squat, and walk about the facility 8-12 hours/day Safety Requirements All employees are required to follow the site EHS procedures and Coherent Corp. Corporate EHS standards.
