Production Worker

Aerotek is hiring Production Workers in Newark, DE. This position is a contract-to-hire opportunity on day shift. Job Description As a Production Worker, you will be responsible for handling finished goods, including palletizing, wrapping, and staging products to ensure stability, organization, and quality. Your role will support production operations by loading and unloading materials, maintaining assigned equipment, and contributing to overall output and efficiency goals. You will ensure the safe operation of machinery while adhering to quality, safety, and production standards. Responsibilities Prepare and organize finished products in accordance with established guidelines and shipping standards. Identify and verify product labeling to ensure accuracy and proper routing. Palletize finished goods appropriately and coordinate the movement of materials to designated finish areas. Verify correct materials for production runs and load or unload materials to and from assigned equipment. Perform basic equipment setup and adjustments, including monitoring machine interfaces and controls. Troubleshoot routine operational issues, respond to alarms or indicator lights, and clear material jams as needed. Monitor quality, productivity, and output to support production targets. Follow safety, security, and housekeeping standards to maintain a clean and safe work environment. Support internal and external audit activities by completing assigned tasks, providing information, and maintaining required documentation. Perform other related duties as assigned. Essential Skills Experience in production, general labor, or general production. Proficiency in using material handling equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts. Machine operation experience. Additional Skills & Qualifications Ability to recognize obstacles and make minor operational adjustments while following safety and maintenance procedures. Open to candidates who are bilingual, or spanish speaking. Strong attention to detail and quality. Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team. Capacity to perform effectively in a fast-paced environment. Regular standing, walking, twisting, reaching, gripping, and grasping throughout the shift. Ability to lift and carry moderate weight, as well as push and pull materials as required. Why Work Here? Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Newark, DE. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $15.00 - $16.00/hr.
